Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

It may be shingles...also called herpes zoster. It is a viral infection occuring in person who had chickenpox in childhood. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. I would recommend you to take antiviral like acyclovir 800 mg thrice a day, oral steroid in tapering dose and pain killer like ketorolac. Take rest for few weeks.

Hope this helps.
