What Causes Tenderness In LUQ Of Abdomen?

Hi, About a week ago I noticed that my upper left side was sore whenever I coughed. It has gotten worse and now hurts whenever I thought my upper left side or move a lot. At first I was thinking it was from coughing but now it is very tender and I am not longer coughing.

Hi thanks for asking questions.

If you have history of blunt trauma to spleen, then pain can occur.Rest and analgesic need for it.

If you have fever with cough then pneumonia like infection has to rule out by x ray.As it can lead reffered pain.

Here you can also have colitis like infective condition ..It can lead pain in that region.USG might be helpful for it.

If you have any heavy exercise or weight lifting then also pain by muscular strain can occur...

If still cause no clear USG or endoscopy done.And pancreatic cause also has to be ruled out.
