What Causes Tenderness In The Head After An Injury?
My 1 year old boy fell from best and hurt his head on day on no swelling was there but after that it became very soft and pulp. I got scared and rushed to a doc who suggested to do x ray and everything came fine in x-ray. But after another that area of his head is swallen and very soft please suggest what should i do as it is scaring me
Hi Thanks for posting your query on HCM I have read and understood your concern Head swelling after a head injury is a normal tissue reaction to trauma.I am happy the x ray came normal.If there are no signs like loss of conciousness, poor feeding, vomiting, i will say there is no big problem to be scared of.A pain/anti-inflammatory drug like ibumol may help solve the problem.
