What Causes Tenderness In Upper Gums Along With Sore Teeth?

I been having tenderness on my right side upper gums right under my nose even my teeth hurt, ever since my son broke my nose twice when he was two and half (he s now10) by accident he was playing and threw his head back and my face was there, went to the ER sure enough it wad broken did not get the surgery decided to wait from than on I started getting several nose really bad nose bleeds a year one of I ended up in the ER but for the past month the gum pain so yesterday I got a sterile syringe and did a nose rinse with undiluted hydrogen peroxide I put the syringe towards the bottom of my nose and I felt a hole in there so I emptied it out I felt how it went behind my gums the pain was like a burning sensation I did twice yesterday and twice today what I been noticing is mucous coming out of my mouth it gathers at my throat and I just have to spit it out as gross as it sounds. Please tell me should I be doing this. Thank you Embarrassed

Read your query tenderness in upper gums along with sore teeth can be due to trauma (accident ) . Trauma to periodontal ligaments secondary to Periodontitis . For this I will auggest you to cosult oral surgeon for clinical examination of teeth and gums and investigation OPG for proper diagnosis and evaluation . Inmeatime do warm saline rinses 2 to 3 times a day and you can apply ointment like Stolin gum paint on gums and avoid horizontal brushing . Use soft bristle brush .
