What Causes Tenderness Of Breast?

pain
I have been having some tenderness on the under or bottom half of my breast. I don't like going in to the Dr cause I feel like they think I'm a hypocondraic if they don't find something. I have always been a medical oddity.
its only my right breast that hurts n only in a certian area. I doubt it pregnancy but I know that's possible. but as I have two kids I kinda know that tenderness feeling, plus that for me happens on both sides. I so still lactate from my second child who is two n I stopped nursing n pumping at 6 months.
I'm not sure what to do or think.

OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Are you menstruating now? If pain is during menstruation take pain killers. If you are not menstruating, if you are in lactational amenorrhea and breast is full with pain then express breast milk and hot water fermentation. If you want to stop breast feeding, consult a doctor

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyadharshini Manoharan, OB & GYN Specialist
