What Causes Tenderness On Forehead After An Injury?
I hit my forehead on the corner of a car door four days ago. I did black out for a few seconds. The spot I hit is still very tender and hurts just as much as it did when I hit it, but other than that I have no headaches or other pain. Should I see a doctor or give it a few more days?

What Causes Tenderness On Forehead After An Injury?
Hi, Thanks for coming to HealthCareMagic. Most of the time, the pain is due to slight bruising and inflammation of the muscles and other soft tissues in your forehead. Ice and some over the counter pain killers like Ibuprofen should be enough to control it. That having been said, if the pain DOESN T come down after a week. Then it s time to go to the doctor. I hope this helps. If you want a more personalized discussion, you can use our Ask a Doctor service and we will get back to your right away.
