What Causes Tenderness On The Forehead After Suffering From Fever?
I had an episode of viral fever and cold 2 week before. Now I have pain and tenderness over one side of forehead just above the orbital ridges. Am also feeling difficulty in blowing out the nostril of the same side. Am feeling some pus like odour inside the nose especially during the morning hours. Can u pls help me.
While this may be quite normal after flu, however, if there is a pain over the eyes, this may indicate an infection of the sinuses, called sinusitis., This may also relate to the nasal problem.
If you are otherwise fine, and not very sick you may use paracetamol and Zyrtec for some time. Do see your doctor if this does not help or you have a high-grade fever are sick.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman, General & Family Physician
