What Causes Tendonitis On The Right Wrist And Pain In The Upper Back?

About a yr ago, I developed tendonitis in the rt wrist ( according to a doctor). I thought it had healed. Next thing I saw was a cyst , a fatty area near the ulnar head. After that, I experienced pain in the hand, went back to the doctor and he X-rayed the wrist. It showed osteoarthritis. After that, I began losing sleep due to numbness and tingling in my rt lower arm...up to the wrist. Also, I think I feel a little pain in the upper back, perhaps around the T-1 level. What is going on, is my question? And how do I sleep if I get numbness in the arm after a few minutes of lying down?

Hello,

Tendonitis and cyst in the wrist may have affected your nerve around it.

Another thing you might get some problem in your spine also. It may be arthritis affecting your spine which may be the reason for numbness and sleepless night. Kindly consult a physician and have a CT scan of your spine.

It may be compression of the nerve between two spines. Perfect diagnosis can be done through the scan.
