What Causes Terrible Back Pain, Which Is Not Cured By Physical Therapy?
I have terrible back pain. Have had it a very long time. I ve had 3 MRIs. They found a small Syrinx in my back, but the doctor said that wouldn t be causing my pain. Ive done physical therapy and that s not helping. The pain is mostly in the left side of my back by my shoulder blade and now the past few months my right side has been hurting very very bad. I go see a Rheumatoid Arthritis doctor in March, I am just wanting some possible ideas of something that could be wrong.
Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Get it done HLA B-27, RA factor, serum uric acid levels, serum calcium, ANA and CRP.
Use back support belt, cold and warm compression. Use NSAIDs if necessary please consult your neuro physician/rheumatologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu,
