Hi there ... My husband recently had an appendectomy. Now we have both noticed that his left testicular is noticeably larger than his right. Accompanying symptoms include (initially), right sided pain from abdomen down through his testicle, sometimes in the rectum but this has subsided. Now he has left sided testicular pain with slight increase of pain with increased abdominal pressure, increased frequency of urination, with occasional associated pain (~1/2 times there is pain with urination), pain with ejaculation (generalized pain 4/10 on pain scale) and dizziness. The doctors had warned us that ingenuinal hernias were a possibility after this type of surgery, but his symptoms don t seem to match that of a hernia, in my opinion (I m a CCRN - critical care RN who works in an ICU). As time goes on and the swelling isn t decreasing, we are becoming increasingly worried. Please help us find an answer. Thank you in advance, Marissa
