Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
Urinary tract infection (UTI) can recur after having sexual encounter.
Urine examination along with microscopy should be done to look for evidence of infection.
Drug sensitivity should also be done to select the most appropriate antibiotic effective against the bacteria.
In case UTI is very frequent and recurrent, you need to consult an urologist for clinical assessment of the urinary tract.
Malformations of the urinary tract can also lead to recurrent UTI.

Thanks and take care
