What Causes The Burning Sensation While Urinating?

I had the flu a couple days ago (high fever, headache) but have been better since Wednesday. However, these last couple of days I have had a burning feeling when I pee. But I don't have an intense urge to pee. At first I thought it was a UTI, but now I don't know because I don't have that intense urge, just normal.

Hi,
Your symptoms more indicating towards urinary tract infection with milder form of symptom like burning micturition without urgency. As you have written that your burning micturition started after flu so there is a possibility that UTI develop as blood born infection following inappropriate treatment of flu. So you should consult a physician for proper investigation and treatment. some investigations should be done to evaluate the conditions like Total blood count, DLC, Blood culture, R/E of urine, culture and sensitivity of urine. You should maintain proper hydration and rest, and also proper hygiene. Follow the instructions of your physician.
Thank you for consulting HCM.
