Hi ....I am 27 years old and I have a skin problem. my chin and sides of the mouth have turned black. I have been having this problem since 2 months now. The doc has said that it s due to lack of Vitamin B. I have been asked to apply Emolene cream thrice a day and asked to take Biotin B and Carofit Plus

hi thanks for posting your query on health care magic.

As per your clinical symptoms you seem to have localised melanosis.

Yes vitamin B complex deficiency can result in this .

You are currently on excellent drug list.
You can get on with these drugs.
This yields response in 90% cases.

In case if you do not respond i recommend blood testing of adrenal gland hormones like cortisol to rule out Addisons disease.

consult an Endocrinologist for further queries.
Thank you.
