What Causes The Feeling Of Food Stuck In The Throat?
I ate an extra gum and feel asleep with it. After I woke up I realized it got super saturated (an emulsion of some sort) and it felt as though it was blocking my oesophagus for a while. Now it feels as though it s still there, since the gum was really solid anymore could it still be there?
As per your history, it may be due to tonsillitis. For pain take tab. Tylenol. Do saline or Betadine gargles. In case of fever, you may require antibiotic Azithromycin after consultation. Take hygienic food and water. Take steam inhalation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale
