What Causes The Feeling Of Obstruction In The Throat?
I have a lump feeling in the base of my throat almost like it s stuck i ve only noticed it at nights now its all day, have been on going for weeks now. there is no trigger and or food reaction. just very uncomfortable i can feel it when i push on my neck as well.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of feeling of obstruction in the throat which is due to granular pharyngitis or upper respiratory tract infection. It could be due to gastroesophageal reflux disease. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to avoid eating and drinking acidic , spicy and hot food and beverages . Do warm saline gargles. You should avoid taking outside food and try to take food and non spicy food. If condition doesn't get better in 2-3 days then consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis and go for swab test. Go for sputum test as well if required and start treatment as per proper diagnosis. Sip warm water after every few minutes.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
