I m 39 weeks 6days pregnant and it feels like I have poop stuck in my anus but every time I go to the washroom and go to the washroom and wipe it doesn t seem to go away. I ve had B&H off and on for the past couple weeks, I don t see my midwife until this Tuesday coming up. Wondering what it may be.

Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like hemorrhoids , constipation and other digestive disorders . I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order stool test , physical examination , endoscopy and blood test for infection or T3 and T4 levels . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics for infection , anti parasitical , laxative and antacid . For now drink plenty of water eat more fresh vegetables and fruits , avoid spicy and heavy food .
