I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that loose skin in the area behind front teeth on the top of mouth seems to be damaged Incisive Papilla and it is a soft triangular structure it can get torn or damaged while eating any hard food or biting down on something very hard..
Nothing to worry as it will get healed gradually and you need not to remove it or touch it again and again..
You should simply take precautions, that is avoid chewing very hard foods and take a soft diet.. You should not try to remove it as it can further get inflamed and cause pain.. Do warm saline gargles.. In case if it worsen or becomes painful consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
