What Causes The Outbreak Of Blisters Along With Swelling In Lips?

I broke out in what I thought was fever blisters but it is going on week 3. I have taken two different dosages of anti viral medication and it is still there. My lips feel like bee stings on upper and lower lip. Could it be something more than fever blisters. I am miserable.

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The blisters can be secondary to herpes virus infection or it can be secondary to allergy to drugs or food resulting in erythema multiforme.
Nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take antiviral drugs like acyclvir 3-4times daily for a week. The lesion usually subsides within a week. Any how since you are telling subsiding, consult a oral physician and take opinion.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
