What Causes The Pain And Burning Sensation In My Anus After Passing Stool?

After eating in a public restaurant, I started passing stool. I complained to my doctor who placed me on an antibiotic (Flagyl) and the stooling stopped. Now on a daily basis, I experience burning sensation after passing stool and pains in my anus. Please advise me. I am 55 years old, six feet two inches and my weight is 220 pounds

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, burning sensation at the time of defecation mostly due to the diet taken and it is the spicy diet causing this another possibility is inflammatory condition of rectum.
If I would be doctor of this case then I would put the patient on PPI and antacid best PPI is omeprazole 40 mg once in day and antacid that having local anesthetic effects, if the treatment fails to respond then clinical examination is must but it may not be serious condition so nothing to worry about this
hope this information helps.
