What Causes The Pain In The Upper Abdomen Area With The Presence Of A Lump?

HI, my name is Michael I m having stomach pain right upper side I have a knot there it hurts off an on and when I eat something im very nausea I was told I have a enlarge liver.and was told in would go down if I didn t drink .the problem is I don t drink.can u help.

HI.
Such a lump can be due to distended gall bladder or enlarged liver, or a colonic tumor/ cancer.
Get an ultrasonography done. If required you can go for an upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy.
A proper diagnosis will lead you to a proper treatment, e.g. Go for cholecystectomy if this is gall stones with enlarged gall bladder.
Also go for blood tests particularly - liver function tests and urine and stool tests.
CT scan helps to confirm the diagnosis .
