There is a popping behind my left knee on the outer side, by where the hamstring is. It happens for a half hour or more at a time, when I walk. If I straighten the leg it can get very painful. It started happening after I walked for two days straight while on vacation. It doesn t happen every day, but usually towards the end of the day when I am on my feet alot.
