What Causes The Presence Of Occult Blood And Pus Cells In Stool?

Hello, my daughter will 3months in 3days... She passes greenish liquid stool and is on ebf. The stool test indicated occult blood positive and pus cells 10-12. The doc has prescribed rinifol syrup for 4-5 days 2.5 ml twice a day. What causes occult blood and pus so I can take precautionary measure in the future.

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely enteritis. Taking antibiotics like metronidazole and probiotics like sacharomyces boulardii will be helpful. If no improvement then consultation with gastroenterologist and doing colonoscopy is well appreciated.
