What Causes The Presence Of One Testis In A Child?
hello sir .my son is now 12y old . he has no right tests from last 2 y. he has hypospidiya also . by birth he have both tests .but in the age of 5 y there was no both tests.in the age of 9y .we opparate.both testes but now right tests is not there place
Based on the history you have shared, he needs to have a repeat ultrasound pelvis or MRI scan to look for any possibility of retraction of the testicle in to pelvic cavity as it may need urologist intervention as surgical measures to correct the condition.
Hypospadias can also be corrected surgically in a two-step operation.
Medical management may not help in this case. A urologist and plastic surgeon review may be needed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
