What Causes The Recurrence Of Helicobacter Pylori Infection?

I had pylori and 10days into it I had a reaction to my Ned s so quite taking them now symptoms have returned and I am in terrible pain. Was up all night last night because my sciatic nerve kicked in. Can t see the doc till tomorrow. Is there anything I can possibly do. The pain is unbearable!

Hi,

The treatment of H Pylori consists of a combination of antibiotic and another drug of proton pump inhibitor. Please check which antibiotic has caused you reaction and skip that. There are various antibiotics given for it like Clarithromycin, Amoxycillin, Metronidazole, Tetracycline etc. You need to take 2 among these drugs along with proton pump inhibitor (Ranitidine). For pain of sciatica, you can take a drug like tramadol without any harmful effect on your stomach.
