Psoriasis is a lifelong skin condition with recurrences. It have no cure. Yet, it can be treated to help control and manage the symptoms and reduce discomfort. You are advised to get him clinically examined by a
Dermatologist. He will have to get few required tests and investigations done. Commonly conservative (immunosuppressants, topical retinoids, vitamin D,
methotrexate, etc.) treatment is given with
light therapy. It is an
autoimmune disease.
He should take more fruits, veggies, lean meat, whole grains that are well cooked. Avoid refined oil, use olive oil for cooking and applying, he should cut on refined flour, full fat dairy products, oily, spicy food, etc. He should stay away from addiction of any kind and also from food that cause flare up of symptoms.
