What Causes The Sensation Of A Lump In The Throat?

I have circopharygeal prominence. Only symptom is lump feeling in throat for 2.5 yrs now daily (which started after a endoscopy). However, the weird thing is I don t have the uncomfortable feeling in the morning when I first wake up, it gradually comes on. My question is why after having a endoscopy do I have this now? And what s the best treatment? Thank You

Radiation Oncologist 's  Response
Hello,

In order to help you, I would like to know more details, such as the reason for endoscopy, your age, any other symptoms such as difficulty in swallowing, change in voice, etc.

These clues will help in digging out the exact cause of your problem, whether there is actually something in your throat which is responsible for this or this is a subjective sensation.

In either case there are treatment options, however, it varies drastically depending upon the cause, I would advise you to reconnect with the details to take things further.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Jatin Bhatia, Radiation Oncologist
