What Causes Thick Mucus Like Saliva In A 2.5 Week Old Baby?
hi my baby is 2.5 weeks old and she seems to have very thick saliva and I can hear here belly rumble as it comes up but she cant get it out and when I wipe it its so thick and mucus like that it is very hard to get out with the bulb. What is this and why is it so thick?

Sounds to be more likely to be reflux of undigested breast milk, rather than thick mucus-like saliva.
She requires a minimum 30 minutes period of burping over shoulder after each breastfeed, rather than allowing to sleep after feed each time.
