What Causes Thick White Painful Sores On The Legs?
I have sores breaking out on my legs. They are raised & have a thick white layer on top. If I remove the top layer they are very red. If I put a needle in them they will bleed a little. They are painful & some feel crusty. What is going on? Oh, I am a 70 year female. My email is not working right now. Is it possible to send a text? Thank you.

It could be folliculitis or abscess. Consult a general surgeon and get evaluated. If there is pus, it has to be drained. As of now, you can apply topical antibiotics like mupirocin for symptomatic relief.
