What Causes Thigh Redness And Swelling In The Legs And Abdomen?

redness in thighs of legs, swelling of body around upper legs and abdomen, weight gain of 30# over last 2 weeks, blood in urine last 11 days, started month ago at eyes swelling badly with vision change, docs at vision care and my reg. doc said severe allergy, but never had before now tested for blood in urine, and was positive for slight blood and protein, no pain like stones

Your summary of complaint is swelling and redness of legs. As you got symptoms suddenly, it is not due to any chronic disease (autoimmune disease or infections). Other causes may be due to alcohol, any toxins, acute infection or vitamin deficiency. As you are not having fever, infection can be ruled out. You can go for following investigations:

1) complete blood picture.
2) ultrasound abdomen.
3) serum creatinine.
4) blood urea.

Elevate your legs while sleeping. Most probably it can be due to toxins or vitamin deficiency. So take care food and start B complex vitamins. (vit B12).
