What Causes Throat Discomfort Along With Cough And Cold?

Hello. I am currently taking linoleum 20 mg, Prozac 20mg. I just started climate 50 mcs and Lorraine 10 mg for what I thought were allergy symptoms. Is this concoction making me feel this way? I feel like my throat and lungs are lined with razor blades, freezing cold, cough and funny nose.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

This all looks like you have got a viral infection of your throat. It is painful. If you do not have a lot of phlegm with It then I suggest you should take more water and can use over the counter pain killers like Ibuprofen or paracetamol.

Gargles with warm water with little added salt may also help. This would resolve in Few days hopefully. However, if it does not resolve in 5 days (mostly 3 days) or you feel short of breath or lot of phlegm then you should contact your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
