What Causes Throat Discomfort And Heart Burn While On Antibiotics For Bronchitis?
hello there, recently I went to the Dr. for a dry cough and feeling like something is in my throat. I was given antibiotics for bronchitis but it didn t seem to work. I recently came across these symptoms being related to acid reflux and I do get heart burn all the time especially when I wake up. PLEASE HELP, does this sound like it is acid reflux? The feeling in my throat is very annoying and I need it to stop. Thank you so much for your time. Brendan
Understanding your concern. As per your query you are having symptoms of throat discomfort and heartburn while on antibiotics for bronchitis which seems to be due to hyperacidity and excessive production of bile. Yes it sounds like acid reflux.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to avoid intake of fried, oily and sharp food substances.
- You should go for walk 30 minutes after having food.
- You should take small and frequent meals rather than large and heavy meal.
