What Causes Throat Discomfort And Swollen Lymph Nodes?
For approxiately three weeks I have felt like something is lodged in my throat, their is no swelling, or soreness to touch or swallowing. The glands to not appear to be swollen - just feels like something stuck. It feeling doesn not impede swollowing at all.
Thank you for your question There issome thing wrong in the larynx tonsils of the Oesophagus The first is to have physical examination for the tonsils with simple direct visualisation. Further examination by ENT specialist. may be necessary then depending on the out come further tests are necessary 1. Full haemogram for any infection. and WBCs Leukamia or lymphoma may present with lymph node swelling. 2. Ct scan of throat the larynx. and upper part of Oesophagus 3. Endoscopy for any Oesophagus mass biopsy of any mass or swellen lymph nodes necessary for firm histopathological diagnosis Treat ment will depend on the out come
