What Causes Throat Discomfort Inspite Of Taking Cefolac?

I am suffering from fever since 4 days now, I am taking paracetimol 650 mg but fever is not going down.. now I started facing difficulty in swallowing food and water and my doctor prescribed me cefolac I had my 3 days course but my condition is still the same what shoul I do??

Likely you are suffering from pharyngitis. He has prescribed appropriate antibiotic but it alone can do no better. Add anti allergic tablet fexofenadine 60mg PO × BD and dissolve two aspirins in water and gargle twice daily. If you have completed the course of antibiotics then start tablet augmentin 1g × PO × BD. You will be better soon. If things won't change then you can dgo to your doctor and ask him for change of antibiotics.
