Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
For about a month now I have had this odd feeling in my throat. It almost feels as if there is something in my throat, like a hair. It causes me to cough and hack almost like I am hacking something up, but nothing comes up. I have been using cough drops to keep my throat moist, which does help. Could this be an allergic reaction?
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult your ENT specialist for proper examination. Doctor may perform laryngoscopy to confirm diagnosis and may prescribe further antibiotic course and stronger antibiotics. Drink glass of warm water with one spoon of honey and ginger extract. You should put xylomist nasal drops to prevent congestion. You should take chicken soup along with along with lemon tea. Take diet rich in vitamin C , which will boost immunity. Take combination of Sinarest along with Levocetirizine.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
