What Causes Throat Pain After Removing Fish Bone Stuck In It?
My friend got a fish bone stuck in her throat yesterday. She went to the hospital today and they did an xray, and said it was fine - they didn t see anything so it must have passed. however, her throat still hurts. is that normal or should she get a CT scan?

This is probably an abrasion of her throat from the bone and nothing too serious. No need for the ct but if it doesn't clear in another day or two she ought to be seen again
