What Causes Throat Pain After Swallowing A Fish Bone?
I swallowed a fish bone 3 nights ago. Had a CT scan that showed no foreign object but did show thickening of the soft tissue. Hurts when I swallow still. Pain now feels like it is lower than throat (now between breasts, at the solarplex level). Not sure what s to do.

Hi,
It seems to be an injury to oesophagal lining by the fishbone. Which has caused inflammation? Eat liquid non-irritant nutritious liquid diet (cold milk, sago pudding)/Take antacid (gelusilliquid) & over the counter Ibugesic liquid in sufficient dose. If no relief observed in 2 days consult a gastroenterologist.
