What Causes Throat Pain And Cracking Voice Resulting In Stressful Speech?

Hello doctor. Im a girl i have a throat pain there is a disturbance in my voice when I speak. early morning my voice will bvery slower i need to stress on my throat to spk. N whn i spk slowly also i need to stress. I had been to dr he gave me antibiotic tab n said to gargle with lukewarm n salt water n said it will cure with in 3 days but it s th same again. Plz suggest me.

The throat pain and abnormal voice in the early am may be due to post nasal drip.

This is the drip of mucus to the back of the throat. It can be associated with different symptoms including pain and hoarseness.
It is most commonly related to allergies or acute cough/cold

The use of topical steroid nasal sprays and antihistamines may help.
