What Causes Throat Pain, Difficulty While Swallowing And Back And Thigh Ache?
Hello, my throat really hurts, its not sore it really hurts to swallow, the bottom of my back aches, and my thighs, and i was sick about and hour ago, iv had this for 3 days now. I thought it could have been tonsilitus, but iv searched through some sites and saw something about swine flu. Can you tell me what it could be please? Thankyou.
Hello Thanks for asking question. This is Dr Adil It seems that you have tonsillitis, your tonsils are swollen and this causing you difficulty and pain during swallowing. Moreover, it can be an upper respiratory tract infection, and If you are suffering from fever also then you have some kind of infection. Normally a viral or bacterial infection with fever, accompanies with generalized body aches.
I wouldn't suggest you to see a doctor, so that he can examine your throat and can check either your tonsils are swollen or problem is in somewhere else.
He may also order some blood test and throat swab culture and sensitivity to aid in establishing a diagnosis and choosing a better treatment.
Feel free to ask more. Kind Regards.
