Hi.. Thanks for the query.. As per your complain there seems to be persisting throat infection leading to pain and difficulty in swallowing.. It can be either bacterial or viral in nature while at times it can be either viral infection with a secondary bacterial infection.. You can continue taking antibiotics advised to you, do warm saline gargles and gargle with mouthwash.. To relieve pain you can also take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen for relieving pain.. You should take soft diet and avoid spicy and hard foods..
