What Causes Throat Pains And Vomiting?
My 14 yr old son is 1 yr diagnosed with underactive thyroid.. It is still unstable, he went from 25mg eltroxin to 150mg in 10mths. He also was diagnosed with Gilberts disease. He is very fit and plays competive football however, for the last 2 games he had become unwell on the pitch. He feels there is something in his throat and has chest pain (ecg ruled out any abnormal activity) and today vomited black.. Thank you

vomiting blood (hematemesis) is an emergency.
it has many causes like gastritis, gastric ulcer disease, liver disease (but its unlikely here, duodenal ulcer, mallory weiss tear....)
visit hospital and try to fix an apointment with a gastroenterologist asap and he needs to undergo gastroscopy immediately.
also check his liver function test (liver enzymes) and complete blood cell count
