What Causes Throbbing And Pulsating In Head When Stood From A Sitting Posture?
When I stand after sitting for a long period I experience a pulsing, throbbing sensation in my head - not painful - and my hearing cuts in and out accordingly. It seems to be on the same frequency as my pulse. What could be causing this? Should I be alarmed?

It is the valsalva response of body which leads to sudden decrease in blood supply to our vascular receptors which cause heart to pump blood more forcefully to head so that we don't get faint. This is normal.
