What Causes Throbbing Headache, Painful Eyes And Blurred Vision?
Hello Dr., My 18 year old daughter has had a lot of health issues. For the last two days she has had a throbbing/sharp headache on her right side of her head. Just a few minutes ago she started complaining about the pain in her eye getting worse and now it s burning, blurred vision and red.

The main reasons for these three thing (burning, blurred vision, and red eye) to come together in one eye can be conjunctivitis, glaucoma and uveitis (internal inflammation of eye layers). Less likely will be fall of foreign body inside the eye. Both conjunctivitis and uveitis can happen in her age group. All require urgent eye checkup by Ophthalmologist (before the condition worsens).
