What Causes Throbbing In Heel And Bruise Around Ankle Of The Foot?

There is a severe throbbing in my heal of my foot and my foot has bruise like Coloring around inside of my ankle around the soul of my foot. I haven t twisred or hurt my foot in anyway. I think a blood vein busted in my foot. Is there any cause for concern or anything I should look for?

Hi. The bruise like color you mentioned indicates there is a need for further evaluation. Its very unusual for something like a blood vessel to spontaneously burst as suggested. However in view of severe throbbing pain in the heel of your foot you should atleast get an xray to start with and then followup accordingly. Rest your foot until then. Take care.
