What Causes Throbbing Inner Thigh Pain Post A Femoral Derotational Osteotomy?

Hi I am 25 years old and I am roughly 8st 2lbs and a height of 5ft 4in. I have recently had a femoral derotational osteotomy and a hip arthoscopy 4 months ago. I have a severe throbbing pain on my inner thigh on top of the knee, is this from the metal rod?
