What Causes Throbbing Pain At The Back Of The Head?
Hi, I have a throbbing pain in the back of my head (that is internal but close to the scalp) that makes the scalp tender to the touch. It goes and comes, but seems to becoming more intense and sensitive to the touch and movement. Externally nothing is visible to the naked eye. Do I need to go to an emergency room?
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM The headache you describe may be a primary headache like tension-type headache, migraine..Since no other associated symptoms, i will suggest you manage it as a primary headache and observe. You may try the following -Take a paracetamol-codeine combination like klipal -Rest well -Have your BP under check If symptoms persist, you see you Doctor for examination and investigation. Hope this will help Best regards
