What Causes Throbbing Pain Behind The Head Along With Fatigue And Nausea?

I have been having a throbbing pain in the back left side of my head, fatigue, nausea, dizziness. Nausea and dizziness feels better after vomiting. I sleep 12-13 hours and still do not feel rested. I am very sleepy all day. Should I go ahead and make an appointment or wait till I have had symptoms for more than 2 weeks?

Thanks for contacting HCM with your health concern and following is symptomwise approach:

1. features (nausea, dizziness) which feels better with vomiting should be evaluated for raised Intra Cranial Pressure (ICP) and as such you should have an appointment for Neurologist's opinion who might ask for associated symptoms like blurring of vision, weakness of limbs or cranial nerves and check for blood pressure (raised), and pulse rate (increased) and ask for C.T. Scan. Head.

2. Do not wait for the symptoms to get worse or improve on their own, see a Specialist first and then act accordingly.
