What Causes Throbbing Pain In Head And Tingling Sensation In Neck?
Hello, for about a couple of days my head has been throbbing, it wasn t pain full or anything so I didn t think anything of it. Later this afternoon I had a tingling in the back of neck, and I also had a burning feeling,my eys also were heavy.then I had a slight pain behind my right eye. I took an advile and the symptoms went away.I don t know if this I have an ear infection about week before this happened.I made an appointment to the doctors but they can see me until the 5 and I was wondering if this is serious enough that I can t wait. Any information will be helpfull thanks.
Throbbing or tingling sensation may be caused by sinusitis, ear infections or due to any vision defect. Vomiting, fever should be ruled out. Tenderness around eye is most likely to be caused by sinusitis. Blood sugar and blood pressure levels should be checked. Tension headache and migraine should also be excluded.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
