Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello. I have a dull throb that comes and goes in my left side, mid to lower abdomen. I usually feel it upon waking and it will subside after a while. I am having them today and it usually comes up after a night of drinking and last night was just that. I attributed those pains to large intestinal upset, began drinking aloe vera juice twice per day and it improved. My question is....could this be something else? It has been ocurring for over five years. - Jessica
Dear, Thanks for writing. I understand ur concern . First of all if the pain is not severe enough and if its associated with excess bowel sounds than its most probably due to large intestinal movement that is not really associated with alcohol intake. If its associated with burning micturition or dribbling of urine than it can be a renal stone which looks less likely. I suggest u to go for a short course of antibiotic like ofloxacin for 5 days. If not resolved an ultrasound is advisable. Thanks I hope I answered ur queries.
