General & Family Physician, Dr. Taimoor's Response
Thanks for asking at HCM. I have read your question and I understand your concern. well right sided lower abdominal pain could be because of number of causes like right sided ureteric stones, crohn's disease, constipation, indigestion, gas, lactose intolerance, ulcers, urinary tract infections, hernia, appendicitis and even worm infestations. H pylori will result in epigastric pain rather than right lower abdominal pain. investigations like urine routine examination and X ray erect abdomen, ultrasound of abdomen and pelvis with a full blood count will help in diagnosis. Mean while he can take plenty of water for a suspected urinary tract infection, and raw milk and milk products will help in lactose intolerance. I hope it can be of some help. thanks Dr Taimoor
