What Causes Throbbing Pain In Shoulder Radiating From The Neck?

I have throbbing pain down my left shoulder and radiating from my neck on the left side as well. Not sure if its 2 issues but cannot put any weight on my shoulder without shooting pain going down to my elbow. my left arm is weakened because of the pain, what could be the cause?

Hello dear. I understand your worry. The cause of your neck and shoulder pain with weakness is likely cervical spine related disease like spondylosis or sometimes involvement of nerves like brachial plexus. You require an MRI study of neck and shoulder region.
Treatment id simple and you will be alright
